We live in Utah. We have a saying here: If you don't like the weather... stick around for five minutes! This (dare I call it?) spring has been no different - one day we're wearing our shorts and t-shirts, the next our heavy parkas. The birds are confused, the flowers can't decide if it's safe to show their heads, and the deer are still roaming the backyard looking for food. There is a wonderful silver lining to our weather, however - sunsets here are beautiful food for the soul. Most of these shots were taken using the camera on my phone.... and the skies are still incredible!
Beautiful! So glad you can find beauty even in the storms! LOVE the last picture of the tree and rainbow! We will think of you as it gets warmer and warmer in Arizona!
Toni, would it be possible to email me a copy of your second photo, the one with the yellows and oranges against the blue snow. Awesome color harmony. Would look good in a painting.
A what?!? The word stochastic is used a lot in statistics, and it roughly means something that is, or has, a random variable. A chrestomathy is a collection of literary works, usually produced by a single author. (Also, usually used in the study of a language... in this particular case I'm stretching the meaning of the word to do what I want it to do. I can do that!) So, long title explanation short: A collection of literary passages written by one author - me - pertaining to one subject with no set pattern. A random collection!
